Both ThrustSSC and Spirit of America are planning to run again today, weather permitting. Spirit of America has the first slot, with ThrustSSC taking the second. Accredited members of the media wishing to access to the Press Area opposite the measured mile for ThrustSSC's runs should present themselves at Access 2 at 1000hrs.

It was one of those strange conversations that seems to make sense, but doesn't - in this case revolving around the effects of going supersonic. One of our older team members pointed out to Andy: "That means you'll get out of the car slightly younger." To which he got the reply: "You'll be wanting a drive then?"
