The powerful Web Servers and their connections to the Internet are provided by the project's Internet sponsor, the Digital Equipment Corporation, while the information is provided by the ThrustSSC Team.

Content

The Web Site content is produced by members of the ThrustSSC Team, and published by the ThrustSSC Internet Team led by Webmaster Jeremy Davey. Jeremy is ably assisted by:

Web Site hardware comprises three servers in Newbury, England, and two server clusters in Boston, Massachusetts. The servers are managed by Digital's Internet Business Group.

ThrustDAS

http://thrustdas.digital.co.uk is a cluster of Alpha servers running NT, and is physically located in Boston, Massachusetts. This cluster serves all the news and story-to-date pages.

ThrustMS

http://thrustms.digital.co.uk is an Alpha server running NT, and is physically located in Newbury, England. This machine serves the online shop.

Battlement

http://battlement.digital.co.uk is an Alpha server running UNIX, and is physically located in Newbury, England. This machine serves all the online forms, the Web Cameras, and the team emails.

Thrust2

http://thrust2.digital.co.uk is an Intel server running NT, and is physically located is Newbury, England. This machine serves the Runs Database and the Photo Gallery.
