Both ThrustSSC and Spirit of America are planning to run tomorrow, weather permitting. ThrustSSC has the first desert slot - roll out will be at 0830hrs. Accredited members of the media wishing access to the Press Area opposite the measured mile should present themselves at Access 2 at 0800hrs.
The weather is not due to improve until this evening - and the Desert Pits is currently in a 'white out'. Running has been postponed until tomorrow.
The wind on the Black Rock Desert is picking up a dust storm. Rollout is currently postponed until the weather improves - we will advise when this happens.
Spirit of America will not run today - after removing the centre front wheel, nicks have been found on the remaining two front wheels.

Jeremy Davey sits in his corner of the Pit Station behind a partition, typing away all day. Leigh Remfry walked in the other day saying: "Wake up, Jeremy, we know you're in there!" Jayne Millington pointed out that the noise emanating from the corner was because: "He's got this tape of rattling keyboard noises."
