The very latest status of the car can normally be seen through the live pictures from our Microplex Web Cameras. The Web Cameras are currently offline and have been packed for transit to America.

1. The car is ready to be loaded for transit to America for the record attempt

1. The ThrustSSC Team are packing for Black Rock
2. Andrew Noble is in Gerlach preparing for the team's arrival

Equipment

1. Equipment is being packed for Black Rock at the project's old base at P8.R Shed, DRA, Farnborough
2. All equipment not required for Black Rock has been moved to the project's new base at X1 Shed

Black Rock Desert, Nevada, USA

1. Permits to use the desert have been delayed until 6th September
2. Andrew Noble is on site preparing for the team's arrival at the end of August
3. The desert is dry for some 15 miles and the 13-mile course is good

1. Most of the Web Site equipment is now packed for transit
2. Accesses are currently running around 340,000 a week
