Car

1. The car has completed runway tests prior to Black Rock
2. The resonance tests have been completed and have revealed a wealth of useful data

Team

1. The ThrustSSC Team are hard at work preparing for Black Rock
2. Andrew Noble is in Gerlach making preparations for the team's arrival

Equipment

1. All the equipment has now been cleaned, checked and prepared for further use
2. Equipment is being packed for Black Rock

Black Rock Desert, Nevada, USA

1. Permits to use the desert have been delayed until 6th September. The team will depart for America on the evening of 1st September.
2. Andrew Noble is on site preparing for the team's arrival at the end of August
3. The desert is dry for some 15 miles and the 13-mile course is good

Web Site

1. Accesses are currently running around 286,000 a week
2. The backlog of background information for the Web Site is slowly being cleared
