Car

1. ThrustSSC has achieved a peak speed of 540mph during the Jordan2 trials
2. Repairs are underway to slight damage to the rear suspension after a bracket failed on the last run:
   • The old brackets have been cut out
   • The new brackets have been designed, subjected to Finite Element Analysis, and are now being manufactured

Team

1. The ThrustSSC Team are hard at work preparing for Black Rock

Equipment

1. All the equipment has now returned from Jordan and is being cleaned, checked and prepared for further use
2. The interior of the Pit Station has been modified in light of the experiences of Jordan2

2. Negotiations with the Bureau of Land Management are underway for the operating permits
