Married to Richard with 3 children.

How did you get involved in the project?

By association! Of course I was involved in Thrust 1 and 2 so it was quite logical that I should be involved in SSC.

Responsibilities in the UK:

I deal with merchandise sales and the Mach 1 Club.

Responsibilities in Jordan:

I was in Jordan the first time, but as the children were doing their important exams I stayed in the UK for the second Jordan trip.

Responsibilities in the US:

Merchandising.

Previous crazy ventures:

Thrust 1 and Thrust 2. 25 years ago I travelled from London to Cape Town in a short-wheel based Land Rover.

Volvo Estate

Favourite Music:

Most, but especially the Beatles.

What sort of books would you read if you had the time?

Lawrence of Arabia.

Hobbies:

Gardening.

What do you want to do when the project is over?

Stick in the photos we have accumulated of the past few years, do a computer course, catch up with friends and we're going to move house! In 2001 I'm planning to go on a walkabout on my own.

What have you learned from this experience?

How to be versatile and patience. But this sort of life is now normality.
