Career: | I completed a degree in civil engineering at Nottingham University. Since then I have worked as a consultant on construction projects in the UK. |
How did you get involved in the project? | I joined the Mach 1 Club at Fairford in 1995 and immediately volunteered to help out. Along with several other Mach 1 Club members I helped to create the Pit Station. |
Responsibilities in the UK: | I organise the Mach 1 Club Open Days with John Lovatt, and I'm responsible for the telephone hotline. |
Responsibilities in Jordan: | We needed to eat so I became bread collector while I was out there and of course, I did some fodding! |
Responsibilities in the US: | I won't be in Black Rock as Berni, my wife, is due to give birth to our first child in September. Yet I will still be heavily involved as I will be keeping the telephone hotline up-to-date. |
Previous crazy ventures: | Caving and the Tough Guy Cross-Country Race (which takes place in January every year). |
