I've had a fascination with speed records since the age of 8.

How did you get involved in the project?

I signed up for the Black Rock Desert Patrol at a Mach 1 Club Open Day at G-Force at Fontwell. I was then asked to paint offices at Q-Shed before the car moved in! I thought that would be it, but then helped to build the Pit Station Trailer - all despite no DIY experince!

Responsibilities in Jordan:

In Jordan 96 I was a defodder and daily bread-purchaser for the team lunches!

Responsibilities in the US:

I'll be involved in desert patrol and working for the Internet site.
