Polamco has, for over a decade, been designing and manufacturing backshells for all known styles, to suit every known circular Mil-connector.
The factory is totally computerised from the design, through planning to the shop floor. The machines are the latest CNCs available and are constantly being updated.
The design of all Backshells are on CAD/CAM computers, which enables Polamco to undertake any modifications or specials that customers require, at very short notice.
Polamco is approved to BS EN ISO 9001-1994 Cert. No. 1201 and as such all manufacturing processes are controlled and full traceability is maintained. Quality control is to the fore and standards of all bought in products such as circlips and seals and regularly monitored. On assembly all backshells are subjected to a MIL-SPEC torque test, and DC resistance tests when necessary. Calibration of all Polamco test equipment ensures the consistent supply of high quality, precision engineering products.All processes in the manufacturing of backshells are undertaken in-house, with the exception of plating.
Polamco also manufacture conduit systems, rectangular backshells and dust caps to customers' specifications.
