Spirit of America was reborn, Sonic 1, a new car designed by Breedlove himself and this time with 4 wheels. On November 2nd 1965, he exceeded his own 555.127mph mark. With true Breedlove determination and style, Sonic 1 was fired up again at 8:10am on November 15th 1965. The car screamed through the first run averaging 594mph. His second run was under six seconds for the measured mile, an average of 608mph, producing a two way average of 600.601mph. Craig Breedlove was indeed the first in world history to crack 400, 500 and 600mph.
