The THRUST SSC chassis has been built from 2" square 16 gauge Aircraft grade T45 seamless tubing supplied by Accles & Pollock, a member of the TI Group.

Formed at the start of the century and with many involvements in land, water and air speed records, Accles and Pollock is now at the forefront of the manufacture of stainless high duty alloy and carbon steel tubes, supplied to specialist markets and operating at the upper extremes of achievable quality.

Our unique technical capability is focused on surface quality, dimensional accuracy and precise metallurgical properties. Accles and Pollock maintain thirty separate quality accreditations including ISO 9002, Lloyds Register, Rolls Royce, British Nuclear Fuels and many other customer specific approvals.

The product range covers outside diameters up to 82.5mm (3.250") and wall thicknesses between 0.20mm (0.008") and 6.35mm (0.250"). It includes non-round sections to standard or customer's own profiles. We also manufacture manipulated tubular components complete with welded fittings / flanges, these components are used in the Aerospace and Automotive sectors.
