Subject to confirmation by the FIA, the ThrustSSC Team have set the first ever supersonic World Land Speed Record. 759.333/M=1.015 and 766.609mph/M=1.020 for the two runs through the measured mile. Details on the Web Site later.
ThrustSSC will make two further runs this morning. Accredited members of the media wishing to attend the Press Area opposite the measured mile during ThrustSSC's runs should present themselves at Access 2 at 0730hrs.
